Scholarship across borders
Dr. Huping Ling is Professor Emerita of History at Truman State University and a leading scholar of Asian American history. Her work examines Chinese American communities, transnational migration, women and family, and the changing geography of Asian America.
She is the recipient of the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Asian American Studies and has authored or edited 37 books and more than 200 articles.
